The Global Digital Health Forum, presented by the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHAlliance) in partnership with the Global Digital Health Network and USAID, brings together public and private sector organizations to share the latest evidence, experiences and lessons learned on new applications and approaches in digital health. The Global Digital Health Forum is the preeminent global digital health event; a two-day Forum focused on catalyzing change in healthcare through advancing the use of digital technologies for improved health in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs).

"The Global Digital Health Forum is focused on harnessing innovation for digital health this year and the participants will have the opportunity to engage with many leading experts about salient digital health trends and implementations contributing to improved health in low-and middle-income countries," said Amanda Puckett BenDor, Co-Chair, The Global Digital Health Network. "We are very excited to hear from key private partners about how they are contributing innovative work to bridge connectivity and access from strategy to local technical implementations in low-and middle-income countries."

The Forum will offer opportunities for collaboration in mobile and connected health in low resource settings worldwide, including over 90 speakers, thought leaders and stakeholders discussing new and developing trends and state-of-the-art digital health tools for LMICs and elsewhere.

"The Global Digital Health Forum has created an important opportunity for program managers, implementers, donors, solution providers and private and public sector health providers, researchers and entrepreneurs to be inspired and learn from these industry-leading organizations," added Richard Scarfo, Vice President, PCHAlliance, and Director, Connected Health Conference. "The Personal Connected Health Alliance is pleased to partner with the Global Digital Health Network and USAID to create this important platform, to help shape the future of digital health."

The Conference exhibit floor will feature the new Global Digital Health Pavilion, highlighting forward-thinking companies, groundbreaking ideas and emerging technologies designed to strengthen the digital and connected health capacity of program implementers and managers in low resource settings.

Hosted by PCHAlliance, the Connected Health Conference and Global Digital Health Forum will take place December 11-14, 2016, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, DC. Formerly the mHealth Summit, the Connected Health Conference was renamed this year to better reflect an increasingly consumer-centered, technology-enabled and collaborative approach to improving health and wellness. In line with PCHAlliance's mission, the Conference will also provide opportunities to learn and develop skills that can be immediately applied to advance the adoption and implementation of personal connected health in community and public health as well as healthcare settings.
